Ever wished you could hook someone up to a Lie Detector? Well the
iPolyGraph is here to help!
You may not get the truth, but you will definitely get some laughs, if
you have gullible friends who think it's real. This is certainly not a
real polygraph, but just a FUN joke application for you to pull a gag
on your friends or kids, and have some hilarity.
You control the answer by where you tap on the "Analyze" button.
Practice a bit with it, before you go looking for your next victim, and
you can get the answer you choose every time.
Great for parties and a gathering of friends to liven things up.

This app is not a real lie detector, of course, just a fun thing to
have on your iPhone.

This is the
Information screen that will appear on your iPhone / iPod when you tap
the blue 'i' button at the top of the title screen. It describes how to
use the application.
Think of a few
questions to start off with, simple ones, such as "is your name
.......?" To begin, have your subject place their finger on the gold
coloured "sensor" at the top of the screen. A series of colored graphs
will begin to scroll to the right across the screen, as long as they
hold their finger on the sensor. It will appear to them that the progam
is monitoring their body rhythms. Ask your initial questions,
preferably these should require "Yes" or "No" answers, but you can ask
whatever you like. Each time they answer correctly, tap the "Analyze"
button near the centre and it will pretend to be processing the
readings it took and then say"TRUE". If they try to trick you, and
answer falsly, then tap the "Analyze" button near either end, and it
will say "FALSE". With a few questions such as this, you can establish
for them that the aplication is working. Then, ask them your
embarassing questions, here's where the hilarity begins. You can
control the TRUE or FALSE result, by where you tap, and get ready to
give yourself and any audience a big laugh, while your subject gets a
red face.
We all know
some people we'd love to play a gag like this on, so go out and have
some fun with it.
As it says on the
screenshot, practice a bit with where you tap the Analyze button, so
it's not obvious to your victims, how you are controlling it. With a
small amount of practice, you'll get very good at it :)

This shows the
screen as it will appear when your subject places their finger on the
"Sensor".
The graphs look
quite convincing enough to fool almost anybody. If the subject takes
their finger off the sensor, then the graphs will become straight
lines, to help with the illusion that it is in fact taking readigs from
them.
Also, if they
don't leave their finger on the "Sensor" for at least one second, you
will get a display of "Insufficient Data" when you tap the "Analyze"
buton. This is to further enhance the believability of the application.
